The Audubon Network for Sustainability

audubon network for sustainability isc logo - middleThere are thousands of Audubon related societies, organizations, sanctuaries, centers, and businesses around the globe.  These organizations and businesses are independent from one another, and separately incorporated. Each is free to set their own path within the Audubon Movement. The Audubon Network for Sustainability is a web based directory of these local, national or international Audubon societies, organizations, sanctuaries, centers, and businesses. It also includes businesses, individuals, and others who have received accreditation by participating in an environmental or sustainability themed education program - many of which may be administered by another Audubon organization.   To read and learn more about the specific entries listed in the Audubon Netowrk for Sustainability click here

    Description

Troon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the largest third party manager of golf and Club operations in the world.  Founded by current CEO Dana Garmany, Troon has built its success one client at a time-by listening to and understanding our client's challenges and customizing our resources to overcome them.  All this is done from a foundation of providing the best talent and resources in the industry, by out working our competition, and by cultivating the creativity of our associates.

Troon is a true third party manager as we do not lease or own any of the facilities to which we provide services.  We have two primary divisions - Troon Golf which is responsible for the operations of our Daily Fee and Resort facilities and Troon Prive which is charged with the operations of our Private Clubs.  These two divisions are supported by 11 corporate departments - Golf Operations, Agronomy, Food & Beverage, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance and Accounting, Design & Development, Risk Management, Information Technology, and Legal.

These resources combined with over 20 years of experience operating a myriad of private, daily fee, and resort operations in states and countries all over the world, have given Troon the opportunity to develop the strategies and talent that allow our clients to excel in the competitive world of golf and club operations.

A Coalition for Good - Spreading the Seeds of Sustainability

ISC-Audubon is a coalition of non-profit organizations and initiatives that include The International Sustainability Council (ISC), Audubon Lifestyles, Audubon Outdoors, Planit Green, Broadcast Audubon, and the Audubon Network for Sustainability.

Funds generated through memberships and donations are used to provide fruit & vegetable seeds, wildflower seed mix, and wildlife feed & birdseed to urban and suburban communities around the world. These seeds are used by communities to establish fruit and vegetable gardens, bird and wildlife sanctuaries, and for the beautification of urban and suburban landscapes by creating flower and native plant gardens.
